Oh, no! I'm very sad for you. How very difficult- he was a sweetie.
Sophie will be sad, too, when I tell her. She still talks about the "diaper dog" at Joe's house. But I will always remember him from when you first got him and sent pictures and stories.
I am so very sorry. Even when they are very old and infirm, it is still so hard when they must go on without us.

We will all miss Walter! If there is a heaven, I hope that he's there doing all his favorite doggy things.
